From 20.04. to 23.04.2026, DREBERIS GmbH, in cooperation with Management Consultant Hilde E. Bjerke, will conduct a trade mission to Germany for norwegian representatives of the healthcare and digital health sector on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. This project-based funding measure is part of HEALTH MADE IN GERMANY - Export Initiative for the German healthcare industry and is implemented under the Market Development Programme.
WHY GERMANY?
Germany’s healthcare market, with annual expenditures of €495 billion, is the largest in Europe and a global leader in digital health and medical technology. Driven by initiatives like “Digitale Gesundheit 2025”, Germany advances telemedicine, electronic health records, and AI-driven diagnostics, creating a dynamic hub for innovation.
National strategies and EU programmes further foster research, regulatory harmonisation, and international collaboration, positioning Germany as a prime destination for Norwegian health-tech expertise and cooperation.
In addition, Norwegian companies can participate in EU-funded projects under the EU4Health programme; Norway takes part in EU4Health, and the Norwegian Directorate of Health serves as the national contact point, promoting participation and providing guidance on calls, consortium building, and compliance—facilitating collaboration with German partners on high-impact projects.
BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATION:
- Business expansion and networking: establish initial contacts or expand activities through connections and individual meetings with innovative German industry representatives.
- Participation in DMEA: connect with industry leaders at Europe’s leading digital health event in Berlin.
- Strategic Partnerships: build and strengthen trade and R&D collaborations with German universities, clinics, and companies.
- Fully organized program: benefit from comprehensive support and guidance by the DREBERIS team in Germany
